Michigan Technological College and Northwestern Michigan Faculty (NMC) have formalized
their intent to collaborate on Excellent Lakes research, with a emphasis on maritime technologies,
freshwater science and specialist progress.
At a signing ceremony held Wednesday, Sept. sixteen, Michigan Tech President Rick Koubek
and NMC President Nick Nissley observed their shared mission and complementary strengths
in advancing Excellent Lakes research, as well as their aim to collaborate in creating
an internationally identified centre of excellence in freshwater science and research.
Less than a two-12 months Memorandum of Comprehension, the College and NMC agreed to:
- cooperatively acquire maritime technologies and operations ideas,
