A pair of pc researchers at the College of Minnesota riled up veteran Linux kernel developers by intentionally distributing questionable code to the mainline kernel.

Nevertheless, a new round of patches from other researchers at the university, which again appeared deceptive, was ample to exasperate Greg Kroah-Hartman.
